Pop Up Cake in pink pirouette

When you make the cake from the new pop up cake die from Stampin' Up they ask you to cut 3 7/8" strips of paper in addition in 3 different lengths. Using a 12" square paper and cutting the strips, there are 3 pieces of DD paper that I had to somehow incorporate into the card.

I moved them around and found this pleasing - I hope you do too. Waste not, want not.

Stamp the Lily of the Valley image from Ever After set in black on pink pirouette CS and color in with spica glitter pen in white and green to get that subtle sparkle- hard to see here, sorry! - then apply the DD paper scraps as shown. Place 2 little adhesive pearls- hero arts- on the connecting strip. Punch out eyelet border. Pierce paper and use dark green spica glitter pen to create faux stitching lines.
Mount on whisper white cardstock base.

The popup cake is cut from pink pirouette for the large and small layer and kiwi for the middle layers. Raspberry tart DD paper for the outside layers.

sentiment by PTI simple alphabet.

Happy Birthday to you- you know who you are!
